You may have noticed my absence in the last week, This is due to the fact my RL birthday is coming up and I went away this week to celebrate.
Why did I do it this week you might ask, Well RL has a way of getting in the way of things ... Even it's self sometimes.
In any case I am back and more full of life than ever.
Ready to bring you more posts, So lets get to that.

For my first look back, I think this one really hit the mark.
What's not to love, My av feels so cute in this.

The hair was a must have from AUX at the hair fair.
It is very cute and comes with a hud change for the bow.
This hair pretty much kicked off the whole vibe for this outfit.

The leggings featured here are new ones from DirtyMind and are at this weeks Fashion Week event.
They are the right kind of edge for my cute look and they come in a choice of black or black and white.
I can simply not resist leggings, They are one of my weakness when it comes to shopping on SL.
No matter how many I have I am always wanting more.

Cute Poison also has a must have item released at the Fashion Week event, I was all set to buy all the colours when to my surprise they through all colours displayed in a hud for one low price, It was a steal.

This is a post I have been wanting to do for a while now but things have a way of getting put to the background for a while but I do get around to them eventually.
While I do love new and exciting things, I also love working way through my inventory and rediscovering those things that were once new and exciting.
If you are like me sometimes you buy things and forget about it until you go looking.

This look is just a fun look, kind of spooky but when I came across RO's Scissor hands I knew I had to have them.
Edward Scissor hands happen to be one of my most watched movies when I was younger and I recently watched it again after finding these and still love it to this day.

Eater Coma is a store that has many good hairs and some great clothes, I fear it is not as well known as it should be.
SO if you haven't heard of this store please check it out.

Pumpkins patch jeans are so cute and I had to have them the moment I seen them.
I had some issue with getting it to fit my shape but in the end I won them over and loved the effect of them.

There is no way out

Dear SL...

It seems my blog styles always go in colour batches, For some reason when I like one item its the same colour as more items I find I like.
I don't do this on purpose but it seems it happens a lot.
This is just a quick short post, As its raining and in RL we are all stuck inside for the day.
However in SL all is sunny.

The theme I went for today is centred around the shirt by Over High, It states "I Am Not A Second Class Citizen" which is based one a RL campaign.
This is a documentary and campaign that looks into the discrimination based on sexual orientation.

The shirt is also a gift so that makes it even better, Personally its one of my most favourite recent additions to my inventory.

I have always loved circlets and LaGyo has answered my desire with this cute simple circlet in this rounds Fusion Dressing Room.
It comes in the choice of silver or gold, Personally I am much more a silver person in RL and SL.

I love my new Ison add on shoes for my Slink feet, and as more designers get on board for creating items that combine with the Slink feet the more I realise how good a buy they were.

Not to mention the amazing skin I have on from Glam Affair, This skin designer has long since been my skin especially when the Arcade came out with Lulu and now you have a chance to own a version at a discounted price in this months C88.

I seen the sun up ahead

Dear SL...

Ok ok so I am well over due for another post, SHHH brain I am doing it already.
I have been busy redoing my home land on SL and I am finally happy with it again.
And now I even have some pretty hangout areas to be when I am typing up my blog.
Which is what I am doing at this moment.
*Sighs* So pretty and comfortable...Yes my pixels can be comfortable, you heard me.

Today's look all steamed from the pants I got at Men's Dept, They are so well made and just had to have them. Taxi Here.
But than started the search for what to go with them.... I had no idea.
Total mind blank on this, So what else was I to do but Tp around to some of my favourite stores for inspiration.

After a few failed attempts at items that just didn't work the way I wanted them to, I finally stumbled upon Fashionably Dead.
Toasted Bard the owner of Fashionably Dead, Is just so talented with the items they produce and well I just can't help but want to buy everything.
This store makes me droll with desire and sure enough it had something that went perfect with the pants.

The only thing left to do was to find some cute hair in my invent and throw on my trusty old style Deco kicks.
Speaking of which the Classic Sneakers from Deco are hands down my favourite sneakers in SL, The style and texture quality are to die for!

And after all this work and finally getting a look I was clearly loving, I was clearly a "Beauty Queen".
I slapped on the Beauty Queen badge of honour from RO and went to show off my new found style.
Don't you love it when it all works out in the end?

Which brings me to the end of this post and the song that's been stuck in my head for days.
I heard someone singing it, and for me that was it.
Humming part words and unknown to me, Wrong lyrics (I always do this with songs I don't know well and get stuck in my head.).
So when I go to search for the song to listen to it in hopes of getting it out of my head, It is next to impossible.

Dear SL...

I have been showing a range of different looks of late but they are all still within my style scope.
I think its important that if you know what you like, you stick to it.
This doesn't mean you can only have one look, Just that you should know who you are.
We shouldn't compromise this for anything, This goes for both RL and SL.

My thoughts and theme for this look, Was actually the fact that under the clothes of every cute girl there is a sexy women.
To back this statement up I have been told numerous times by men in RL that cute is better than hot.
I am not sure if its because most men find me cute more than hot in RL and they want to make me feel good about that or if it is true but in any case, I like it.

This is a pretty "sexy" and revealing outfit for me, But one I think works well for me.
I am not a big fan of the butt crack and boobeh shows for my av personally, Yet others can pull it off while looking damn good.
I also think my look contains a cute style to it which is what I like to bring through with my outfits.

If you haven't heard of the hair brand Liquence, It is a new hair store created by the much loved Villena Swansen owner of the store Villena.
They recently released their first two hairs for girls and I must say the moment I seen them, I knew I had to have them!
This blog post features F2 which is a wavy long style that is just so pretty and now my go to hair.
I loved it so much I brought 2 packs and don't even get me started on how amazing the textures are, I guess you will have to see for yourself.
Personally I can't wait to see what they have install for the future.

Speaking of Villena this parka that currently at the Men's Dept in two colours, Is the perfect thing to conceal a sexy outfit under it or just to look good on a cold day on the grid.
It is very well made and so easy to work into any outfit.

Remarkable Oblivion has struck again with these amazing Hobnail boots at the FaMeshed event.
These boots give my outfit that little bit of character and the textures on them are to die for.
You won't find anything like it on the grid and once you have them you won't want to take them off.

So today I am very much in a blogging mood, Which is good for anybody reading this.
I have so much stuff to blog because there are so many talented designers that I love and they have all been releasing great items.
This means it isn't a question of what to wear or how to wear it, Oh no today it is a question of where to start with the outfit I want to show all of you first.
So why not this one.

By now I hope that you will have figured out that I was inspired by the Miss Universe like pageant and decided to put my own spin on things.
With the irony of the bullet belt as usually the tag line for "What would they wish for" "Would Peace" type thing.
I think it turned out well.

The sash I have on is indeed a belt and is made of very well detailed bullets with a lock.
The designer is RO who have quickly stolen my heart with their style and incredible quality.
If you are not a belt person than its still something that you could use, Just as I have.
As with many things in SL, Your imagination is the limit with how you choose to use them.

The other thing I want to rave about is this skin.
I don't change skins very often and have been loving my Glam Affair ones, So I find it really hard to stop wearing them.
However it takes a very special skin to make me do so and well Essence skin lines are just so pretty, I can not help myself.
The face is just so gorgeous and well look at those eye brows ... sighs...
Not to mention it is perfect for the look I worked for today and you can really see the nice detail of shading on the body.
And Essence also works with a lot of popular SL grid events, Which is great to see.

Well that is all I have to say about all this for now, But as always I have a song for you.

Is this why you can't sleep tonight

Dear SL...

Up early to bring you more fashion pleasure.
I am in kind of a funny mood at the moment, So the look I have installed for this post kind of suits it.
The word I can only think of to describe it would be "Ratbag" feeling about myself.
Now I know most wont know what I mean by that so here is the definition of this Aussie slang.
"Ratbag is also Aussie slang for Trouble maker or someone causing havok - When the word Ratbag is used its used in a non offence way. "

This post again features the Men's Dept items and is well worth checking out, It is mainly aimed at the men of SL and lets face it they need it more than us girls do.
However there are a few unisex items and such that work for girls.
So why not get that much needed make over for that man friend, (We all have one that needs it) and head on over. Taxi Here.

The shorts that are shown above are one such item that can be acquired for the month of July in the Men's Dept and The owner of the store is one of my good friends.
So I know full well how much work and dedication went into making this item and these shorts are just the thing for a summer feel to your av.
The shorts come with a hud four choices of colours or shades of the colour depending on the shorts chosen, with the loop hole and button options.
The store is a new to the grid and while there are some fine tuning to be worked out as he progresses, This store is defiantly one to watch.

Also you need to check out Poetic eyes, If you need to update or want a change these are so nice and just stand out. 
I don't usually change my eyes but these are gorgeous and a score because there are many colour options at the Men's Dept.

FaMeshed is another event that has really got my attention this month, It helps that they had one of my favourite stores participating - Emery.
Emery for me hit it out of the ball park with their items, The shirt is featured above and I couldn't help myself but get a few of them. Taxi Here.

Ok so I am completely obsessed with Melodyssey an Australian band I have posted a song of theirs before but I am afraid that we are going to end up listening to the whole album because its just so mind blowing and its all I am listening to at the moment.
