While its time to celebrate Summer in SL, I hate to admit that in my part of the world it is winter.
I hate to cold and I am so happy that in my escape to Secondlife, I can dress in cute little swimmers as well as enjoy the summer sun.

Let me just start off by saying that the Kawaii Project is always one the main events every month i personally look forward too.
I love the designers and the themes they come up with, It all seems to fit me so well. \
This time is was a beautiful summer feel on the kawaii style which I was so happy with.
I was insistently in love with the rainbow tattoo layer by The White Crow, I don't think i will be taken this off for a while.
Olive also put out this Kitten hair that is so effortless looking and perfect for lounging about in the pool.
Event my new puppies supplied by Half Deer at the Arcade event enjoyed the ice creams by Sue Cream at the Kawaii event.

While there is so much more to mention I think I will leave it to the picture to speak for the summer fun to be kicked off at the Kawaii Project and a few other events round the grid.

This look just jumbled and kinda came to me as i put things together, This often happens and I love the result.

The Arcade is almost two weeks into its opening for this round and while most will have gotten their dying to have list completed, I have a few things to show that might make the list grow.
Firstly have you seen the amazing wood work magic that Black Bantam did this round? If not check the picture above. The gate is set so you can make it invisible (Just your little secret) or a beauty for the whole world to see, Either way its so pretty...Secret Garden here i come. There is also the wooden horse rare in the same set, this is colour change and i just love the way its meshed.
As always Dust Bunny put out an amazingly detailed set and i know i will be using bits of it for a long time yet.

As we all should know by now the Vintage Fair has just opened its doors and well if your a lover of all things vintage (From most periods) than this event has you covered.
I am featuring many of the items in this post, However a few things are stand out for me.
The Aisling corset set is just breath taking beautiful, It has many patterns and the hud allows for customisation of patterns to your own tastes.
Ayashi did not disappoint with a sleek long haired mesh for the event, As usual they have a nice range of textures and it even comes with a detachable colour change flower. (Flower not featured in this picture.)

A few other bits and bobs from around the grid events worth mentioning are the thigh high heels from Reign. While these are gorgeous heels on their own, The really amazing thing about them is the one cheap price for a many colour hud that allows you to customise. They also offered a add on hud with Blueberry colours.

Arise had also been impressing me of late with their range of eyes, I am really loving playing with different eye colours and textures that this brand brings to the grid.

While events like the Arcade are still i full swing, There are many events just about to release their new shiny items and its easy to get lost in it all. Do not fear, I am here to guide you to some great items offered.

Since I have already mentioned the Arcade we will start there, I am still showing off my haul from this round and here today i have the gorgeous rare dress Reverie offered for the Arcade. I love the style of dress and i cant express how well done the fit for the dress is on the body. I also have to mention if you have materials/high gfx for your computer, My blog picture does not do it justice to the shine and prettiness of the textures.

The dress is just the start from this inspired blog as i have done a modern twist on the Vintage feel, This is mainly because the new Vintage Fair event is opening on the 10th of this month and runs until the 26th. Honestly there are so many amazing things coming for it. 

I have featured Truths hair, Which is always of high quality. Also some great poses, this one is by An Lar Poses. These poses are really well done and have perfect feel for that vintage look but also can be used for other looks as well of course. 

Fri. as always have brought their talents to the shoes featured and i will honestly be wearing these with other looks as well. I am a sucker for the strapy wedge and with summer here, it is great time to pick up a few pairs.

Arcade is of course still a core element of items in this recent blog post, There are just so many wonderful things and while most will have already spent until broke.... I want to show what made me play the the game of chance to win those items that stole my heart this round.

Olive was a clear choice for hair, The styles brought out by owner Rose (Yes my mother, so i may be a little bias however i like to think not.) are just the cutest and the Dollie hair is one of my top favourite hairs to come out this year.
Clearly inspired by the singer Melanie Martines, She did an amazing job and honestly the hair along with the singer started  the inspiration my whole look for this post. The hair can be worn without the bow and also has the option to be duo coloured separately.

I also fell in love with the Half Deer puppies, There are so many cute positioned ones... It was hard to choose which to show off in this post. They each have the option to have their fur changed and the bow colour, This is such a nice feature to match to your own liking.

The Fawny rare dress has such a nice wrinkled look to it, I like the style and over all look. Comes with a hud to change to a few mesh body options and also a touch to change colours.
The only thing for those with OCD about mesh fittings, is that i found the shoulder straps were a bit high for my avatar in the maitreya body. However this is not enough to make me not want to keep this dress on for a long while. Especially as i am a sucker for longer hair styles.

I must say the other thing pictured but not give enough justice in this post are the Reign heels, Given that you play and get a whole fatpack of colours when winning a pair of heels... What's not to love. I really like the metal hud change option for the heel part and I chose to use my personal favourite saying "Baby Girl".

Arcade has officially opened and the frenzy had started to get to those amazing items available.

I couldnt go pass showing you the offering from HEXtraordinary at the Arcade event, These pony pegasus are just so adorable. They come in companions, Nesting decore and sitting decore. Oh and don't forget to check out the Arcade website for the cutest of all 50 roll prize Pegasus hatchling.

Along with the events opened this month the Fantasy Collective has some really nice items still on offer before this round closes. The Astalia swing is a particular favourite of mine, With a colour change hud that you can use to change the ribbon, big and little flowers. It really is so pretty.
You can also get the Beth hair by Doe, This hair flows so nicely and was a perfect compliment to the outfit i desired. As always the textures and colours are a joy to wear and i don't think i will be taking it off for a while. (Well maybe until my next blog post.)
Minimal also brought out some nice accessories for the event, Including a gorgeous gild mask and jewelled ear accents, I loved these so much.

As much as i could go on and on about each item, Its obvious i really love each item and this is why i choose to share it all with you. However as mentioned I am short on time and will leave it to you all to check them out.
