Dear SL...

Hi,
So you may have noticed I have not blogged in a while, A combo between RL health, Broken computer, moving and also an Internet company that messed me around.... It was impossible.
However all those things are in the past and you can look forward to many new posts.
It is a very exciting thing at the moment because the Fantasy Gocha Fair is just around the corner and I have the very honourable position to show you some of the things you can expect.

When it comes to my SL fashion I have a very eclectic taste.
Then when something like the fantasy gocha fair comes up, My avatar is transformed in to all kinds of magical forms.
It seriously is one my favourite events that happens on the grid.
The look today is based on Yasum's offering for this round of Fantasy Goch fair.
I am extremely happy with the look created and its follows a more cyborg/cyber punk feel to it.
The leggings would have to be my highlight of the outfit, They have amazing detail and with the Ultra rare leggings you get an amazing hud that can change various things on them including the glass and many more.
The top is a cute addition to any sl wardrobe and again if you are lucky enough to get the rare you have a choice of colours and can even change the details on the buttons.
The items from Yasum are as you will have come to expect from this creator, No less than brilliant and has found a very welcome home within my inventory.

The fantasy Gocha Fair opens this Feb 1st and will have so many amazing things to capture your creative side, Best get to saving those lindens because this fair in guaranteed to eat every last one.

Music of the moment: This band use to be one of my most favourite as i grew up and even seen them live in RL, They were amazing and still have a special place in my heart. So happens the outfit created above reminded me of the video clip to this song.

Ok so this post is a quick look into the items that can be found at this months Dec round of The Mens Dept and to be honest its one of my favourites yet.
With an ever growing list of must haves, It is getting harder and harder to pick what to show first.
The event offers Mens items primarily because lets face it us girls have so many options and events, However Mens Dept also has some unisex items and furniture for girls to.
Mens Dept is known for its quality of items at discounted prices and the designers involved are some of the Sl most talented.
This can not be proven more so when looking at the "My cook set" offered by Monso.
I am a big fan of the show Breaking Bad and as this is a outfit inspired by the show I can't express how impressed I am with this.
It is not often we can find that item from a show or RL thing that we love so much being created in SL but to have it created in such a way it does justice to your memory and how you feel about that show is just hard to come by.
Monso however delivered on this suit, If your a huge fan you wont be disappointed and it belongs in your inventory.
Not to mention this kick ass mask, Perfection.
Comes with two versions for the head on and off and also includes filters for both styles.

Hi,
I am still alive... Shock horror I know.
Unfortunately my computer and SL had a bit of an issue with each other that I could not fix.
However seems that they have worked things out on their own and all is well.
So now its back to blogging, Oh how I have missed it.
However it is 4:44 am, Thus I am very tired and decided to do a quick post (Well it was when i originally blogged this post but due to RL i was interrupted til now).

The Mens Dept opens tomorrow for the round of December, and If you like shoes this is defiantly your cup of tea.
Among my favourites from this batch has to be the Rachel Breaker pizza shoes.
I mean come on, Need I say more. THEY ARE PIZZA SHOES!
Oh to be in the mind of such a wonderfully talented strange mind as that of this creator.
Although the Mens Dept is primarily a man event there are many great designs with unisex options and not to mention some amazing furniture by such creators as floorplan and cheeky pea etc.
I missed out on blogging last months items due to rl illness but will be catching up...So stay tuned.

As well all know the Arcade started this month to, If you are anything like me you are already broke with a million items bursting your inventory seams.
One such item that I found particularly fun is the Tee*fy food war guns.
And keeping in the them of things I decided to play with the pizza one.
However the one thing that really makes me love this round is my newly acquired Cho hair by ....
Its just so cute and playful and and did I mention I love it.
Also making another must have skin is the gorgeous Glam Affair.
Gemma is such a pretty skin, This is such a delight with great tone and I just don't want to take it off.

If by some chance you haven't heard of the Arcade gotcha event before it is a great time to find out about it.
And just in time for those pixel xmas presents.
Rose Olive even helps you out with having a gotcha there, Filled with transfer present boxes which you can put your very own pic on.
I am sure I will be shareing many more items from the arcade with you as it really is my weakness.

This is such a fun looking comfortable look, I love animals in rl and that extends to my Slife to.
This cat top is not only stylish but the right kind of funky, As always Villena hits it out of the ball park on this one.
Not to mention these cute looking jogging pants, Make some for me in rl please?!?

I don't usually personally like the moveable flexi hair mixed with mesh hair but this new hairstyle I scored at the store KIK is just so awesome, All my thoughts on the matter went out the window.
I haven't taken it off in days and If you are like me you owe it to yourself to at least check it out.

There is so much awesome to be had at the Chapter Four event this month and if you haven't already gone and gotten a trolley load you best do it soon before its gone.
Among the items I found these Sleepy Eddy Boston glasses and just had to have a pair in all colours.

It is that time of the year when all the creepy and fun freaky things come out to play.
Seraphim Socials theme this month seems so fitting in light of this and have chosen the book Caroline by Neil Gaiman.
This book for those who haven't heard of it is about a girl who goes through a door to another world into a house just like her own but she soon finds not all is as it seems and she must escape this new found world.
This was one of my favourite books growing up and along with Nightmare before Christmas is just so magical in its own creepy way.
Seraphim Social has all manner of items inspired by Caroline. So hurry over and check them out.

Dear SL...

Hi all,
Not many people know this about me, But I am actually a vegetarian.
Now before people start groaning, Its not because I don't agree with eating meat or animals.
It is something I did when I was younger because I hated the sight of blood and it would make me feel physically sick.
Now however its just a habit as I am a nurse in RL and the fear of blood has long since past.
However like any habit is hard to break and therefore I am still a vegetarian.

I love this causal look and the reason it came about was all to do with wanting to feel casual and warm.
I went looking for a sweater on Marketplace to suit my needs and came across this sweater that states on it " Save animals, Go vegetarian" and I thought how perfect and fitting it was.
Not to mention it has cute animals on it and with the bargain price of 1L as a September gift by the store Strawberry Jam who could resist.

The little animals you see at my feet are by the talented Anya OhMai and can be found at the Designers United Event along with many other interesting and fun items.
These pets come in food form, hold and rez.
Each of them make noises and also blink, They are super adorable and a must have for any cute item lovers among you.

I am not usually a bright person when it comes to colours but when faced with such items made by designers such as Rachel Breaker, What is a girl to do but dye her hair purple and wear a rainbow.
The coat seen above really inspired it all and put a new spin on the Halloween witch idea.
Followed by the amazing unisex hair by Monso, The pop texture pack was perfect for the look i wanted to achieve.
But I must say my new favourite item would have to be the headphones by Ispachi, Comes with versions for your head, neck and held.
It has a great colour change hud, and even has a hand held music controller to add to the aesthetic of the item.
All these items and more can be found at this months round of The Mens Dept, Which starts on the 5th of every month.
Last but not least, If you want to add just that little bit of fun or flare to a normal look check out the eyebrows from Glam Affair....They are simply gorgeous.
