Dear SL...

Hi,
So after sleeping for more than enough hours I feel a lot better and its straight into blogging.
My SL has been over come with the urge to dress up in the more fantasy world of ways and I can say I am truly loving the magic I am feeling.
Its Game Of Thrones day and well If you haven't started your obsession with this show, You should... Right after reading this blog.
One of my favourite things in the fantasy realms has always been the fairy, Now most are wrong about the nature of these creatures but that's ok...I like both versions.
Today my blog is the typical children story book version and I feel so pretty.

The Fantasy Gotcha Carinval allows us to utilise a very much needed magic feel to SL.
My woolands fairy is graceful as she tends to the animal kingdom and was a lot of fun to create from the talented items offered at the event.
There really is that much on offer, The combinations are endless and you will spend hours figuring out new styles.

The lantern held in my hand is from the ever talented Nat from noodles and is so detailed it almost made me cry... its just so beautiful.
The wings by ::Una:: come in so many colours it was hard not to put them all at once.
I have always loved wings in SL, and well these are so cute! Into my collection they go.
Also featured from the FGC is the butterfly crown by On A Lark, This really helped tie my nature woodlands fairy look together.

The dress featured in the post is unfortunately in that colour an event exclusive for the old secret affair, However the dress in other colours is available.
I have to say this is one of the best dresses I own in SL and I have it in many colours.
And lastly this hair by Exile, My goodness so breath taking.
It has so many waves and curls, Just really gives you that natural mystic feel. Something I would have dreamed of having my hair one day when I were a kid.

So if you haven't hear by now the Fantasy Gotcha Carnival is well on its way with all the delights of the designers imagination put together to create items that just make you want to drool, Drool and or loose all your hard earned linden on that one gotcha that just won't give up that must have item.
But all is worth it, As the quality of talented designers rivals the best of events.
So if you are yet to make it in, What are you waiting for? If you need proof of the amazing items to be had, All you have to do is look at the picture above.

Aphorism has surely come into its own as a growing brand name and really the item produced for this event is second to none. Keep watching this designer and I am sure there are many more unique surprises ahead.
Speaking of surprises, The rares within this machine offer a very interesting feature and once I tried it out I was both amazed and couldn't help but owe at the genius that went into the idea behind it.... What am I talking about? Have a look for yourself.

This is a HUD that is included and it has many features but of my personal favourites is the wounded button that allows you to press it and all of a sudden your av has a arrow sticking out of it and bloody clothes while falling over.
I am sure there are more features to be explored and if this doesn't make you want it more... I am not sure what else would.

Yasum as always did not disappoint and produced a solid pair of unisex boots, Fit for combat anywhere or any time.

Little Bones is fast becoming one designer gathering quiet the mountain of hairs in my inventory, As time goes on I am sure I will buy more. This hair with the adorable name Moon Child is one not to be missed.

I also need to mention that Axix Has such beautiful crafted items, with such easy simplicity, yet so much detail and design, This designer has defiantly found herself a new fan.

I could seriously got on and on all night about all the designers and the items now crammed into my over flowing inventory that is in desperate need of a cleaning, However that will have to wait for another post.

Pixicat is a rather newer brand on the grid and is quickly taken inventory's across secondlife by storm with each new release.
Her bags have a unique style and presents about them and well her release featured at Kustom9 was no disappointment.
To my suprise when purchasing the bag, It came with an amazing hud to allow you to change it from shoulder to across your body, As well as changing lip colour and adding or removing piercings to the lips.
As a extra small bonus you also got a few lip tattoo layers for your av, To match the bag.

Spellbound's new hair Serenity can be found at the EB Awareness Event, and is more than a great reason to add this hair to your inventory.
The hair it's self is so precious and has a hair clip that slides in the back, I can not encourage you enough to go try this hair out.
Spellbound has also released special colours of some of her releases for this event.
This ombre hair texture is just simply divine, Spellbound textures keep encouraging me to experiment with my hair colours.

Not to mention these killer shoes I found at Reign, I just can't stop staring at my feet!
They are so well designed and so very pretty, It was off to try out some new dance animations with these babys on.

Over all I think this look is quite sassy and bold, Making it just the right thing to wear for the mood I have been in of late.

I must say being blonde for me is a huge change, One I love as it makes me feel light and fluffy, However it won't be my usual look. I love my brown hair to much for that.
With this skin tone and Spellbound's flawless blonde texture, I couldn't help myself.
Who is Spellbound you ask?
Well my goodness check this store out if you don't know.
Not only are the hairs a fresh look, The owner is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing.
Spellbound is also participating in the Fantasy Gotcha event going on next month and the headdress above is one of the items on offer.
The one featured is a Rare and comes with a complete colour change hud. It's details are simply gorgeous and its an item you should not miss.
I will show case many more items from the Fantasy Gotcha event, Although if you don't want to wait for that please head on over and check things out for yourself.
Although I will give you one warning, Pack a lot of Linden because you will need them with the amount of amazing stuff being offered. Starts May 4th, Sorry for the teaser but at least it gives you more time to gather those much needed funds.

Don't Walk On By

Dear SL...

Hi,
Oh gosh so many events going on a girl has to keep her running shoes on and purse on fire, Not to mention an army of people trailing behind like on pretty women.
SL sometimes reminds me of that scene when she goes shopping. (If you haven't seen it, Yes it is old however its still awesome.)

As you can see I have been playing with my picture layout again and I think I have finally settled on a look that I am happy with. Yay!
Please feel free to let me know if you like it or other wise, But for now its ok to these events.
Designers please slow down on making the awesomeness....Ok not really I love it!

Seraphim Social event is one not to miss this round, Especially for all those who have a nerd within us.
For those people the answer is 42.
If you have no idea what I am talking about that is ok, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is awaiting you.
The designers participating in this round have done a great job in providing items that make me want to relive reading the book again.
Cae made this to die for necklace that while it is simple it has such a beautiful detail, There is also another necklace on offer but to see that one I guess you are going to have to go see the event for yourself.
It comes in short or long versions.
The galaxy tights come in many colours and they even have socks for those of you that don't like the full effect of tights, These are made by Cannibelle and who doesn't need more tights anyway.
I don't usually go for the high platform heels however the fact they have cute alien creatures living inside them I couldn't resist. Thank you so much for expanding my style tastes L. Warwick.

While all that is going on I hope you are all saving up for the new round of Fantasy Gotcha Fair, Because believe me you will need all you can get.
Above SpellBound hair is just a sneak peek of the talent to be found at the 4th May opening date of the FGF. (Sorry for the tease but I couldn't resist and Besides May 4th isn't long away.)
Oh and did I mention the Ultra rare is a Fatpack of all colours?!?!
I don't know if you have managed to find SpellBound yet but my goodness this designer has such a unique style and the colour range is impressive, Please go check it out.
While it doesn't have a wide range of hairs yet, Its defiantly one to watch as she is releasing quite regularly.
I must confess I am a hair girl and to have a new hair store like this come into my life is my idea of a dream come true.

The new round of Mens Dept opened at the start of this month and I must say it just gets better and better.
Along with the usual qaulity of style the event brings, We were also graced with our very own side kick.
Dan Dan the Bat Dog!
Bringing out the hero that hidden in all of us, This dog also comes with a mask for your own av and the option to unmask your side kick dog to.
I was also more than impressed with the jacket by Razor.
This jacket allows you to change all the parts with patterns and colours, However the annoying battle for what hair will fit under the hoodie took some sorting out.
I have modded a sculptie lamb hair and although I have come to be a mesh snob these days I just love how this came out.
The whole look just fell into place and not to mention I am a sucker for glasses, Theosophy released some that were to die for.

Also wanted to show off BCC gotcha bags, You just gotta collect them all. They are too cute not to!

Bags:

I just love when SL brings to life, Those old memories and feelings you had when you were a kid.
The Cutie Moon Fair did just that for me.
I couldn't wait to see what the designers would do when inspired by Sailor Moon.
And they did not disappoint!
As always I like to put my own spin on things and BCC defiantly helped me do that by creating this dress that while had the flavour of sailor moon kept it very original.
Allowing not only Sailor moon fanatics like me to get involved but also those who may not be into the craze... However wanted to look cute in a new dress.
I am also featuring Olive hair which is also found at the Cutie Moon Fair, They have moving and static for those amazing pictures and to be honest these hairs are to die for when you try them on.
To add that little touch I also included Whimy's release in gotcha form the clips...Perfect.
I have on my new Okkbye skin Marina, That was released at the skin fair.
There is something very natural and glowing about this skin and I look forward to seeing more skins from this designer. Keep your eye on her, I have a feeling its going to be big.

My new Favorite addition to my ever growing inventory is the wands by Ison and Tulip, My linden balance hated me but I couldn't leave without getting more than one.
